Quantum elliptical trainers are produced by Quantum Fitness, a Houston-based company that initially designed physical therapy machines for rehabilitation clinics. The company soon expanded its operations to offer traditional fitness equipment too. Their residential product line includes just one elliptical, the Quantum Stride 210H. They also offer a very similar commercial elliptical, the Stride 210C.

Brand Features of Quantum Ellipticals

  • High quality – Quantum got its start manufacturing medical equipment. Its fitness products have clinic-quality features such as steel frames and sealed ball bearings.

  • Self-generating power — These ellipticals have self-generating power, so they can be used anywhere in the home and won’t contribute to electrical bills.

  • Full stride – Quantum ellipticals have generous 21” strides.  

  • Compact size – Quantum ellipticals are just 44” long. Some other home elliptical machines are almost twice as long.
  • High capacity – The Q-210C and Q-210H weigh 305 pounds each and have user capacities of 400 pounds.
  • Narrow pedal spacing – The small 1.75” spacing between pedals is ideal for protecting hip joints and knee joints.
  • Programs – Quantum workout programs provide plenty of variety. Options include manual, random, hill, interval, 5K, and weight loss programs.

  • Good warranty – Quantum residential elliptical purchases are protected with a lifetime warranty on the frame, a 5-year parts warranty, and a year of labor. The commercial parts warranty covers three years.

Overall Rating for Quantum Ellipticals

Quantum ellipticals are built of high-quality parts, and they’re engineered with the insight of Quantum Fitness’s experience with physical therapy. The ellipticals receive positive customer reviews. However, these customers might have overpaid. Quantum cross trainers are a good buy if purchased on sale, but comparable machines can often be purchased for less. Smooth ellipticals and Sole ellipticals are some other products to consider.
