The company is known for its environmentally responsible manufacturing facility and its relatively long warranties for its class. Some of its elliptical trainers are too basic to consider buying, but others are good contenders. Tunturi ellipticals are made for the budget and middle markets.

• Compact size – Tunturi trainers have relatively small footprints. Their especially compact ellipticals include the C30 and the C35.

• Various strides – Strides from this brand range from 16” to 19”. The C30 a 16” stride; the C40 has a 17” stride; and the C35, C45, C65, and C85 have 19” strides.

• Heavy flywheels – Tunturi ellipticals have especially heavy drives for low-priced ellipticals. For instance, the C30 has a 17 kg (37.4 lb) flywheel.

• Extras – Tunturi ellipticals include extras such as conditioning tests, wireless heart rate monitors, and streaming video.
